Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC, based in El Paso, TX, seeks an NDI Technician to inspect aircraft and components for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and to analyze engine oil for wear metal debris.

The role requires ASNT-TC-1A or NAS410 level II equivalents, FAA certification, and 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience on fixed-wing aircraft. You will train others, supervise tasks, and support QA/compliance.

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements of ASNT-TC-1A or NAS410 level II for magnetic particle, ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic and liquid penetrant inspection techniques.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA Airplane and/or Powerplant certification or related special skills/certifications (NDI, Welding, Egress, Machining, etc.) required.
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, inspect and maintain structural, mechanical, and electrical elements of the aircraft.
• Train others in the use of diagnostics devices, computers, hand and mechanical tools.
• Provide oversight and may direct and train others in aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Perform Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
• NDI testing and interpretation using multiple NDI methods.
• Prepare engine samples for wear metal analysis and evaluate results.
• Handle hazardous materials per environmental standards.
• Document maintenance per QA and regulatory requirements.
