Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Non-Destructive Inspection Technician in Fallon, Nevada. The role involves inspecting aircraft, engines, and ground support equipment using NDI methods and documenting findings. Must have NAS-410 Level II NDI certification and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include performing various NDI techniques, maintaining CAMS data, and ensuring safety and compliance with Navy manuals and related instructions. Must be able to work multiple shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS-410 Level II NDI certification.
• Minimum 3 years of recent aircraft/component NDI experience.
• Familiarity with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series and RAD-010 NAVSEA guidance.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and be able to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDI of aircraft, engine components, and ground support equipment per NAS-410.
• Utilize radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and optical methods.
• Document defects and locations; notify maintenance personnel.
• Operate CAMS computers; maintain NDI equipment and tools.
• Ensure safety, FOD prevention, and compliance with applicable orders.
