Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an NDE Lab Lead to oversee nondestructive evaluation activities at Arnold AFB, TN. You will guide a skilled team, ensure safety, quality, and reliability of materials and components, and supervise testing across multiple NDT methods.

The role requires a strong background in NDE with Level II/III credentials, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance. You will work in a demanding aerospace environment supporting AEDC operations.

Qualifications

• 10 years of NDE experience.
• ASNT Level II/III certification in MT/PT/UT/RT/VT.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lab operations and assign tasks by priority.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company procedures.
• Perform and supervise nondestructive testing on piping, vessels, motors, and test hardware.
• Interpret test results and document findings in reports.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests.
• Maintain inventory and calibrate lab equipment.
• Perform NDT in certified methods at multiple units.
• Wear PPE as required and ensure safe work conditions.
