Job summary

NDT.org is seeking a dedicated NDE Level 2 Technician to lead and run our NDE Department under the QA Manager, collaborating with engineers, QC teams, plant management, and floor staff.

You will set up and operate a fluorescent magnetic bench, manage consumables and processing tanks, and handle material movements. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is essential, with FAA regulations knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as NDT Technician.
• Level II Certified in Dye Penetrant Inspection and Magnetic Particle.
• Level II Certification in Eddy Current Testing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the NDE department.
• Set up and run a large fluorescent magnetic bench safely.
• Manage NDE consumables and change out processing tanks at scheduled intervals.
• Operate an overhead crane or demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel data sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Understand and follow strict technical procedures, industry standards, and FAA regulations.
• Collaborate as a reliable team member across departments.
