Job summary

SpaceX is hiring an NDE Inspector for Starship, focusing on surface and volumetric inspections and reporting findings to production and engineering teams. You will interpret drawings and support technique development for complex geometries in an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification in one of the listed methods (ET, RT, DR, PT, VT, CR, PAUT, UT, UTSW, MT).
• Preferred: additional Level II/III certifications in ASNT NAS-410 or DOD guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required.
• Support development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries.
• Support R&D of system qualification and certification for critical processes.
• Assist in training and developing others on the team.
