Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an NDE Inspector (Starship) to perform surface and volumetric inspections, interpret findings, and report to production and engineering teams. The role involves reviewing drawings, developing inspection techniques for complex geometries, and supporting system qualification.

You will train others and contribute to aerospace inspection excellence. Requires NDE Level II in multiple methods, aerospace experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency.
• NDE Level II certification in ET/RT/UT/PAUT/MT as per ASNT NAS/ DOD guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required.
• Support development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries.
• Support R&D of system qualification and certification for critical processes.
• Assist in training and developing others on the team.
