Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an NDE Inspector (STARSHIP) to join the NDE Operations organization. You will perform surface and volumetric inspections, interpret findings, and work with production and engineering teams to ensure high quality flight components and assemblies.

You will also help develop NDE techniques and assist in training others on the team. The role requires Level II NDE certification and experience with aerospace materials, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement to enable human

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification in ET/RT/DR/PT/VT/CR/PAUT/UT/UTSW/MT per ASNT NAS-410/DOD guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required.
• Support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries.
• Support research and development of system qualification and certification for critical processes.
• Assist in training and developing others on the team.
