Job summary

SpaceX seeks an NDE Inspector (Starship) to join the NDE Operations team. You will perform surface and volumetric inspections, interpret results, and communicate findings to production and engineering teams.

The role includes reviewing engineering drawings and assisting in developing inspection techniques for complex geometries. The position emphasizes aerospace NDE practices, training others, and supporting system qualification and certification for critical processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification in ET, RT, DR, PT, VT, CR, PAUT, UT, UTSW, or MT.
• Experience in aerospace NDE inspection practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required.
• Support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries.
• Support research and development of system qualification and certification for critical processes.
• Assist in training and developing others on the team.
