Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a UI Developer for a fully remote role within the United States. You will work on healthcare claims systems, build demo applications, and collaborate with engineering to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Strong healthcare claims systems experience (Claims Processing, Pharmacy NCPDP, Interchange, ICE panels).
• Advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise; ability to analyze and optimize complex queries.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, including legacy systems, code repos, and SQL reporting.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and data security, including HIPAA and PHI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business development to identify customer requirements and provide technical pre‑sales support.
• Create demonstration applications to show feasibility to customers.
• Define and build demonstration software and systems to showcase products.
• Answer moderately complex customer inquiries about system software and applications (pre/post‑sale).
• Test user configurations for compatibility; coordinate installation and maintenance of products/systems.
• Coordinate with engineering to assist in design changes; track progress and ensure on‑time launches for customers.
• Train customers on systems applications and mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Maintain relationships with customers post‑integration to foster future business.

Your role in our mission

Essential Job Functions

• Works in conjunction with the business development staff to create new business by identifying customer purchasing requirements and providing technical support to potential/current customers in sales presentations and/or product demonstrations.
• Creates demonstration-application(s) to present feasibility of the application to potential/current customers.
• Defines and creates demonstration software and systems to showcase products and systems.
• Provides answers to moderately complex customer inquiries concerning system software and applications, pre-sale and post-sale.
• Tests user configurations for system compatibility. Coordinates the installation and maintenance of products/systems to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications.
• Interacts with engineering groups to assist in the design changes to equipment. Tracks the progress and quality of the projects with accountability to the customer, project manager and management to ensure on on-time and smooth product launch for the customer.
• Trains and communicates with customers on systems applications and assists less experienced engineers as necessary.
• Maintains relationships with assigned customers post integration; supports their needs and builds the relationship to encourage future growth of business with the customer.

What we're looking for

• Strong Healthcare Claims Systems experience, including Claims Processing, Pharmacy NCPDP, Interchange, and ICE panels.
• Advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise, with the ability to write, analyze, and optimize complex queries.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, including legacy system evaluation, Microsoft TFS Code Repositories, and SQL Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and data security, including HIPAA regulations and Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements.

The pay range for this position is$90,900.00 - $129,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
