Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Application Developer (.NET) to join our remote-first team. You will maintain multiple applications, review code, and provide production support across the stack using C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and SQL Server.

You’ll collaborate with peers to design, test, and implement changes, contribute to release management, and mentor junior teammates. This role offers a generous vacation policy, educational assistance, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of full stack programming or application development experience.
• Proficiency with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and jQuery.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and creating tables, relations, stored procedures, and views.
• Experience with Web Forms, MVC, WCF, and JSON.
• Experience writing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support and maintenance of multiple applications.
• Review codes, tests done, documents and implements programs according to the specifications provided.
• Provide moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users.
• Participates in and conducts peer reviews.
• Creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks.
• Provides leadership and work guidance to personnel and keep management informed of progress.
• Creates, reviews and analyses writing program specifications.
• Participates in and reviews design of new applications of simple to complex and for enhancements to existing programs.
• Recommends and estimates time to make changes to client software based on information such as client feedback, language changes and new technology
• Track down, diagnose, and fix issues in the application
• Participate in release management of the applications including monthly releases.

Your role in our mission

What we're looking for

• Six or more years of full stack programming or application development experience
• High level of proficiency working with appropriate programming languages (C#, VB.NET, ASP.net, T-SQL, Entity Framework, jQuery), operating systems, hardware and software (Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio)
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Sever preferred) to facilitate programming software. Creating tables, relations, store procedures, and views.
• Experience working with creating and maintaining Web Forms, MVC, WCF, and JSON.
• Experience working with writing specifications

The pay range for this position is $72,800.00 - $104,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
