Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Professional C#/.NET Developer to help build and maintain Medicaid systems. You will work on healthcare administration products used by millions and grow professionally through our development academies and certifications.

The role offers remote work with travel up to 10% as needed and a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs. You will contribute to a team developing Provider Portal solutions, collaborate with clients, and lead small sub-teams

Qualifications

• 6+ years of application and UI development using .NET, C#, SQL Server, SQL and Oracle.
• Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Healthcare Systems experience preferred (e.g., interChange MMIS, Medicaid).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs for Provider Portal.
• Analyze, design and write specs and requirements to drive development.
• Evaluate existing systems and coordinate with project manager and team.

Your role in our mission

• Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs for Provider Portal
• Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs
• Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project manager in assigning tasks and working closely with a team
• Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
• Develop unit test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
• Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
• Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of Application and UI development experience using .NET, C#, SQL Server, SQL, and Oracle.
• 6+ years of experience supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Healthcare Systems is preferred, including interChange MMIS, Medicaid Provider Enrollment, and Gainwell Healthcare Portal v4.2.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $72,800.00 - $104,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
