Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a Rigging Specialist to install and rig heavy equipment on construction sites in Mississippi. The role requires setup, alignment, and crane signaling expertise, plus the ability to select rigging and assess loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with management.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and rigging large-scale heavy equipment.
• Position, align, or level machines, equipment, and structures.
• Shakeout of items to be installed into erectable sequence and rigging for crane hoisting with crane signals.
• Guide rigged items into position using a tag line.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for work activities.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance and address deficiencies.
• Select rigging components and develop basic rigging procedures for load handling.
• Identify suitable rigging points and select rated rigging based on tension.
• Maintain understanding of LHE dynamics and hazards.
