Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Texas seeks an experienced rigging installer to plan, lay out, and install rigging components for lifting and installing equipment, machinery, and structures. You will work from plans and adhere to codes and safety standards.

This role requires intermediate experience, the ability to work at heights, outdoors in all weather, and willingness to overtime. You will set up and guide items into position using tag lines and crane signals, with manual and welding

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and rigging large-scale heavy equipment.
• Position, align, or level machines, equipment, and structures.
• Shakeout of items to be installed into erectable sequence and rigging of same for crane hoisting; knowledge of crane signals.
• Guide rigged items into position using a tag line.
• Use of oxyacetylene and welding equipment for adjustments for installation of rigged items.
