Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Rigging Specialist to set up rigging for construction projects and manufacturing plants. You will read plans, coordinate with equipment operators, and ensure safe lifts across complex sites. Required: 4+ years of related experience, a HS diploma or GED, and NCCER/NCCCO or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience or training
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• NCCER/NCCCO or approved 3rd party certification

Responsibilities

• Set up rigging for construction projects and plants
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and measurements
• Inspect rigging gear for wear and damage
• Attach slings, chokers, and spreader bars to loads
• Direct equipment operators with hand signals and vocal cues
• Maintain safety during lifts and pre-planning of lifts
• Coordinate with foreman and crew on load movement
• Complete required paperwork and reports
