Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled riggers to plan, lay out, and install rigging components for lifting and installing equipment on construction sites. The role requires reading plans, following codes and standards, and coordinating with supervision.

Responsibilities include setting up rigging, aligning machines, signaling crane operators, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the job site. A high school diploma and NCCER certification are typical requirements for this craft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Able to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig large-scale heavy equipment.
• Position, align, or level machines, equipment, and structures.
• Rig and guide items into position using crane signals.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for work activities.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with plans and specs.
