The Delaware Valley Alliance (DVA) initiative is a regional effort focused on advancing equity, transparency, and workforce access within transportation and infrastructure systems, particularly for historically underrepresented communities. It was formed following investigative work, including Right-to-Know requests, that revealed gaps in transparency and disparities in hiring practices, which became the foundation for coordinated advocacy. Building on these findings, DVA brought together community organizations, policymakers, and regional partners to engage public agencies in constructive dialogue and accountability. Today, DVA serves as a platform for research‑driven advocacy, community engagement, and partnership‑building to ensure equitable access to opportunity and sustained systems change.
