Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Wichita is seeking a skilled programmer proficient in CATIA V5 for 3 to 5 axis machines. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, programming and testing machines, and ensuring timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in CATIA programming, with a preference for candidates possessing additional mill-turn experience. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CATIA V5 programming experience for 3-axis and 5-axis machines.
• 5+ years of programming experience plus mill-turn preferred.
• Preferred: 5+ years CATIA V5 - 3-axis and 5-axis programming plus mill-turn.

• Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming.
• Select machine type and cutting tool requirements.
• Selects machine type (3 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation) and cutting tool requirements.
• Ability to meet a provided deadline on time.
• Able to work on a team and communicate effectively.
• Provide on machine support for program development.
• Performs other related duties as required.
