Job summary

Maola Local Dairies® in North Carolina seeks an Account Manager to drive sales across wholesale, retail and foodservice accounts. You will secure new item placements, integrate sales initiatives with Sr. Management, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting, and work with our Sales Team to secure profitable business with our products.

MUST RESIDE IN NORTH CAROLINA AREA. Bachelor’s degree in Business and at least 5 years of account management experience in food or dairy sales are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of account management experience in food or dairy sales.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Regional Account Management – grow existing business and maintain customer relations with retail chains and field staff.
• New Business Development – pursue retail, foodservice and distributor opportunities.
• Trade funds management – oversee co-op dollars and ad allowances for products.
• Travel up to 50% locally; overnight travel up to 20%.
• Coordinate pricing and market activity with Sales Manager.
