INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support Navy warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management for a federal customer in Norfolk, VA. The role emphasizes material handling, documentation, and compliance with Navy processes.

The position requires an active secret clearance, two years of Navy logistics experience, and proficiency with MAT/MRQT/ONE TOUCH/FEDMALL/DSS/WMS. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years Navy warehousing, supply and logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of Navy logistics systems: MAT, MRQT, ONE TOUCH, FEDMALL, DSS/WMS.
• Familiarity with Navy transportation and material transfer docs (DD1149, DD1348).
• Ability to obtain certification to operate power lifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to obtain PCMS tiles certifications and related agreements.
• Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage warehouse inventory, including storage, movement, and palletizing per procedures.
• Receive, inspect, and examine materials for deterioration, damage, or discrepancies.
• Route materials to designated locations and rearrange inventory as needed.
• Operate power lifts and other material handling equipment.
• Conduct onsite material turnover to Local Maintenance Activities and ensure LLTM receipt.
• Identify and report material discrepancies and incomplete receipts.
• Perform receipt inspections at local storage facilities as required.
• Update MAT and GFM MAT turnover records.
• Maintain and file turnover documentation (DD1348, DD1149).
• Assist local storage facilities with inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Respond to logistics requests from warehouse leads.
• Provide bid and proposal support when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
