Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support Navy training products. This fully remote role focuses on instructional analysis, objective mapping, scriptwriting, and storyboard development aligned with NAVEDTRA standards. Collaboration with Government SMEs is required to ensure technical accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a background in instructional design and experience translating complex information into effective learning solutions for web-based training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience or commensurate experience.
• Experience in instructional systems design and training development.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into learning solutions.
• Strong scriptwriting and storyboard development skills.
• Experience collaborating with technical SMEs and government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design and map learning objectives.
• Write instructional scripts and develop detailed storyboards.
• Collaborate with SMEs and multimedia developers to meet NAVEDTRA standards.
• Validate accuracy and incorporate SME feedback through reviews.
• Maintain traceability of requirements, objectives, content, and assessments.
