Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Sr Project Manager to provide structured program oversight from award through service acceptance. The role emphasizes coordination with Navy shore installation programs and adherence to documentation requirements.

The successful candidate will manage task order execution, prepare status reports for DoD clients, and ensure all deliverables meet contractual and security requirements, including potential clearance needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, construction management, or related technical field.
• Minimum eight years of progressive project management experience, including navy shore programs.
• Experience preparing status reviews and reports for Navy/DoD clients.
• Knowledge of navy shore installation processes: planning, execution, and closeout.
• Proficiency preparing FRCB packages and related documentation (DD Form 1391s, cost estimates, environmental reviews).
• Experience with NAVFAC project delivery and coordination with officers and regional stakeholders.
• Hands-on or oversight experience with IT network design, deployment, or systems integration.
• Familiarity with network protocols and IT service delivery models.
• Scheduling tool proficiency (MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to obtain security clearance; PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing structured program oversight, weekly reporting, and stakeholder coordination from award through service acceptance.
• Supporting navy shore installation programs with required documentation incl. FRCBs and related support documents.
• Serving as primary contact for task order execution and ensuring contract performance, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
