Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA seeks an experienced PMO Lead to provide program management leadership and delivery oversight for multiple large-scale federal contracts with a U.S. Navy customer.

The role requires establishing governance, driving performance management, and coordinating across technical, operational, and contract teams in a complex federal environment. Travel is required and a Secret clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive program and project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering, PM, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience leading PMO functions or managing complex portfolios.
• Experience with large-scale technology, infrastructure, IT services, or systems integration programs.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in federal contracting or government customer environments.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, technical staff, customers, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO function across the contract and establish consistent program and project management standards.
• Establish governance processes for planning, execution, reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and change control.
• Lead recurring program reviews, integrated planning sessions, milestone reviews, and executive governance meetings.
• Develop PM skills within the management team and coach emerging project managers.
• Work with project and technical leadership to resolve resource, schedule, technical, and operational challenges.
• Lead and mentor PMO personnel, including project managers, program analysts, schedulers, and other program support staff.
