Job summary

Avathon Government is seeking an experienced Capture Team Lead to drive US Navy and maritime campaigns. You will lead capture activities from opportunity identification through proposal development, coordinating with internal teams and partners to craft winning solutions and engage Navy program offices.

You will manage bid processes, shape strategies, advise on pricing, and ensure compliant submissions while building trusted relationships with government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to travel.
• Understanding of capture management best practices.
• Experience writing proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the capture process from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Develop win strategies including customer engagement, solutions, pricing, teaming, and bid/no-bid recommendations.
• Oversee proposal development, content creation, scheduling, and reviews for timely submissions.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, government organizations, and industry partners.
• Ensure clear communication between capture team, SMEs, and leadership to align goals.
