Job summary

SAIC is seeking a senior Capture Manager to lead pursuit strategies and shape win themes across Army and Navy markets. You will guide cross-functional teams through the pre-award lifecycle to deliver compelling bids that meet customer missions and security requirements.

The role requires 18+ years of experience, a proven track record in large captures (>$50M), and deep knowledge of federal procurement. Travel to key sites may be required in Reston, VA; San Diego, CA; Crane, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proven success leading captures and securing large programs, with at least three single-award wins exceeding $50M each.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract types (non-IDIQ, IDIQ) and payment methods.
• Experience leveraging various contract vehicles and alternative acquisition pathways.
• Leadership of high-stakes, multi-disciplinary capture teams in fast-paced environments.
• Exemplary business development acumen with a history of hitting capture goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage capture efforts across Army and Navy markets, including C5ISR, Aviation, Missiles & Fires, Surface and Subsurface Systems, NIWC LANT, INDOPACOM, SOUTHCOM, and CENTCOM.
• Develop and implement winning capture plans with win themes, differentiators, value propositions, teaming strategies, and customer messaging.
• Lead cross-functional capture teams and staff to meet opportunity needs and customer expectations.
• Engage customers and shape procurement approaches with key federal stakeholders and potential partners.
• Lead internal gate reviews, pricing reviews, and strategy checkpoints to optimize capture processes.
