Job summary

Core Services Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical and Auxiliary Systems Subject Matter Expert to support the Navy's mission in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience aboard Navy surface ships, focusing on training and enhancing operational proficiency.

This role entails conducting visits to ships, developing training resources, and advising ship leadership on proficiency and material readiness. A SECRET security clearance is required, and travel up to 35% may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience with electrical systems aboard warships.
• Familiarity with 450 volt, 3-phase alternating current (AC) equipment.
• Direct experience with Navy electrical troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training to improve operator proficiency on electrical and auxiliary systems.
• Compile and develop training resources for ship systems and equipment.
• Assess material condition and readiness of ship systems.

Skills

Experience with electrical systems maintenance

Experience with auxiliary systems operation

Operational experience on U.S. Navy ships

Ability to teach and assess skills
