Job summary

Core Services Group is looking for an experienced Electrical and Auxiliary Systems Subject Matter Expert in San Diego, CA. The role involves conducting training visits and assessments to enhance the Navy's operational proficiency on surface ships.

An ideal candidate will have significant experience as a U.S. Navy Electrician or Engineer. This full-time position includes a salary range of $90,000 – $110,000 per year based on qualifications and is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience with electrical systems on warships or military auxiliaries.
• Direct operational experience with Navy equipment and distribution systems within the last five years.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship training visits to improve Sailor proficiency in electrical and auxiliary systems.
• Develop training resources for ship systems and equipment.
• Conduct comprehensive material condition assessments and advise ship leadership.

Skills

Experience with electrical systems on naval vessels

Experience with auxiliary systems on naval vessels

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills
