Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Defense Analyst, Mid to support the Navy through the annual Authorization and Appropriations process. You will leverage PPBE systems to coordinate, track, report, and deliver analyses and recommendations to guide decisions on requirements, milestones, and progress.

With 3+ years of relevant experience and a Secret clearance, you will analyze risk-based strategies, support policy development and strategy implementation, and interact with senior staff and DoD/Navy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience with congressional or legislative affairs and the DoD/ Navy processes
• Experience with Navy staff or Defense, Joint Staff, or COCOM staff
• Experience with regular direct client interactions and leading meetings
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
• Ability to work independently and analytically
• Ability to track acquisition and procurement goals through the legislative cycle
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Support Navy client through the annual Authorization and Appropriations process
