Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a professional environment.
• Experience with congressional or legislative affairs and the DoD Authorization/Appropriations process.
• Experience with Navy staff or Defense, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command (COCOM) staff.
• Experience with direct client interactions, including presenting to clients and leading meetings.
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Ability to track and understand acquisition and procurement goals through the legislative cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Navy client with support throughout the annual Defense Authorization and Appropriations process.
• Coordinate, track, report, and make analyses to support government decisions on requirements, milestones, and progress.
• Provide analysis to support the development and implementation of Navy and Marine Corps strategy and policy.
• Analyze risk-based strategies for processes and planning.
• Analyze and track metrics for strategy implementation.
• Provide analysis to identify, define, and close requirements.
