Job summary

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an Engineer II (CVN AC&R) to support naval AC&R systems on Navy aircraft carriers. You will test, analyze, and update ILS data, assist with obsolescence programs, and contribute to shipboard system improvements.

Ideal candidates have a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering, 1–2 years Navy or Navy contractor experience, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 1–2 years of professional engineering experience with Navy or Navy contractor focusing on AC&R systems.

Responsibilities

• Correct and update Navy ILS to include APL, manuals, MRCs, and obsolescence for AC&R on Navy carriers.
• Support design, modeling, analysis, and testing of AC&R systems and components.
• Develop Ship Change Documents (SCD) and ShipAlts for improvements to AC&R systems.
• Provide life-cycle support for AC&R equipment: design, install, test, logistics, upgrades and obsolescence.
• Assist with test facilities and conduct EQT, procedures, witnessing, and reports.
