Job summary

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking talented Engineers to support critical naval projects in Pascagoula, MS. You will engage in 3D modeling, drafting, testing, and technical support to enhance Navy AC&R systems across ships and fleets.

Responsibilities include design analysis, test procedure development, life-cycle support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for installation and maintenance of ship systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of professional engineering experience focusing on Navy AC&R systems.
• Strong understanding of Navy ship systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, Fluid Systems, pumps, heat exchangers, actuators, and related equipment.
• Experience with control systems and variable speed drives (VSD/VFD).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in engineering and 3D modeling tools.
• Ability to read and interpret ship installation drawings and NAVSEA standards.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Technical authority for Navy AC Plant, MRU and legacy refrigeration systems for ships, submarines, and carriers.
• Support design, modeling, analysis, and testing of all AC&R systems and components.
• Develop Ship Change Documents (SCD) and ShipAlts for improvements.
• Support lifecycle of AC&R equipment including design, installation, testing, logistics, and obsolescence.
• Provide test facility support to build/refresh and test AC&R systems.
• Support Mission Readiness Panel requirements for testing at the Auxiliary Systems test facility.
• Perform EQT by developing and reviewing test procedures and reports.
• Support NDT of heat exchanger tubes in condensers and evaporators.
• Execute SOVT tests shipboard and provide engineering support for modernization.
• Review drawings for material requirements and test plan development.
