Job summary

Qualifications

REAL ID or U.S. Passport required.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college/university.
Minimum 3 years of professional engineering experience focusing on Navy AC&R systems.

Responsibilities

Technical authority for Navy AC Plant, MRU and legacy refrigeration systems on ships.
Support design, modeling, analysis, and testing of AC&R systems.
Develop Ship Change Documents (SCD) and ShipAlts for Fleet improvements.
Lifecycle support for AC&R equipment including installation, testing, logistics.
Provide test facility support and readiness for AC&R testing.
Perform EQT, testing procedures, witnessing tests, and document reports.
NDt of heat exchanger tubes in condensers and evaporators.
Support ship modernization programs with new technologies and control systems.
