Job summary

Venture Dynamics in Seattle, WA is seeking skilled Pipe Welders to join our team, focusing on NAVSEA welding projects within shipyards. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe welding on Navy vessels and must pass NAVSEA tests CuNi-IR and Copper Nickel.

Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $34.00 per hour DOE, with 40–60 hours per week and shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. The contract starts in November and runs 12+ months, with overtime as required and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• NAVSEA pipe welding certifications and tests completed.
• Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints, schematics and specs.
• Knowledge of shipyard safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components in shipyard environments.
• Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
• Ensure welding tasks meet quality control standards for inspection readiness.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Inspect welds for structural integrity and safety compliance.
