Job summary

West Hill Staffing Group LLC is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join a team supporting naval shipbuilding projects in the Pascagoula area. You will weld stainless steel and copper-nickel piping with TIG/GTAW, read technical drawings, and contribute to critical mechanical systems aboard high-visibility vessels.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pipe welding experience, comfort in shipyard environments, and a keen eye for quality.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on pipe welding experience (TIG/GTAW focused).
• Proficient in stainless steel and copper-nickel welding.
• Comfortable working in shipyard settings with diverse conditions.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel and copper-nickel piping using TIG/GTAW (your primary tool).
• Apply SMAW and FCAW processes as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.
• Support ship construction in dynamic environments—sometimes at heights or in confined spaces.
