Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, seeks a Navigation Engineer in Lexington Park, MD to support Navy and Marine Corps programs with PNT engineering expertise. The incumbent will contribute to the integration, testing, and fielding of advanced navigation capabilities across aircraft platforms.
The role focuses on PBN, RNAV, RNP, and FMS architectures, working within a team to provide engineering analysis and technical support for IPTs, ensuring mission effectiveness, safety of flight, and
Competenze
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles for avionics and navigation.
- Experience with PBN, RNAV, RNP, WAAS/SBAS, and FMS.
- Understanding of civil aviation mandates (FAA/ICAO).
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and program offices.
Mansioni
- Provide systems integration and engineering support for PBN capabilities (RNAV, RNP, GNSS, LPV/ LNAV/VNAV) and modern FMS.
- Assist in technical planning, execution, and technology advancement for NextGen navigation.
- Collaborate with NAWCAD/NAVAIR and program offices to ensure DoD aircraft compliance.
- Support EDPRAP inputs and review flight clearances for PBN integration.
