Job summary

BOOST LLC seeks a GPS Modernization Engineer to join the NAV/PNT team for NAVAIR PMA 209. You will support integration, testing, and sustainment of EGI and GPS receivers across multiple naval aviation platforms.

This on-site role at Patuxent River requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and deep experience with navigation systems and GPS modernization to deliver jam- and spoof-resistant solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with focus on Navigation Systems.
• Progressive professional engineering experience with defense aviation navigation platforms.
• Experience with EGIGPS receiver integration and support preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD SETR process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide navigation engineering support for integration, testing, and sustainment of EGI and GPS receivers (MAGR 2K LN 100251300351 ANAV 3MM).
• Support platform integration on aircraft: E-2D, FA-18, C-130J, MQ-4C, H-160, CH-53K, MV-22, P-8A, E-6B.
• Contribute to transition to M code GPS for assured PNT in contested/denied environments.
• Review and prepare engineering documentation: ECPs, CDRLs, white papers, integration plans.
• Support system requirements analysis, design evaluation, and verification.
• Coordinate with program offices and engineering teams to align requirements and schedules.
• Support test planning and evaluation to validate receiver performance.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
