Job summary

DCS Corp at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland, seeks an Aircraft GNC Engineer to contribute to development, integration, testing, and evaluation of advanced aircraft systems for U.S. Navy aviation programs.

The role focuses on guidance, navigation, and control, modeling and simulation, and flight-test support, with opportunities to collaborate with government stakeholders on challenging aerospace problems in a mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years' experience.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Review software and hardware requirements for GPS, design docs and test plans.
• Work with GPS technologies in support of aircraft including APNT.
• Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Review process.
• Evaluate vendor design and requirements documents for technical accuracy.
• Provide technical expertise for system designs and aircraft integration.
