Job summary

BOOST LLC is seeking a GPS Modernization Engineer to support the AIR PNT team within the NAVAIR PMA 209 office. Youll provide navigation engineering support for the integration and sustainment of EGI and GPS receivers across naval aviation platforms to deliver M code capable navigation in contested environments.

The role requires on-site work at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, with a focus on DoD navigation systems, documentation and collaboration with platform programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with focus on Navigation Systems.
• Progressive engineering experience in defense aviation navigation platforms.
• Experience with EGIGPS receiver integration strongly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide navigation engineering support for integration testing and sustainment of EGI and GPS receivers.
• Support platform integration on aircraft including E-2D, FA-18C, C-130J, MQ-4C, H-160, CH-53K, MV-22, P-8A, E-6B.
• Contribute to transition to M code GPS capability for assured PNT in contested/denied environments.
• Review and prepare engineering documentation including ECPs, CDRLs and platform plans.
• Support requirements analysis, design evaluation and verification across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with platform offices, engineering teams and stakeholders on schedules and requirements.
• Support test planning and evaluation to validate receiver and system performance.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies for integration.
