Job summary

5Cities Homeless Coalition seeks a Navigation Center Supervisor to oversee the Navigation office in Grover Beach and supervise Case Managers delivering direct client assistance.

The role collaborates with government entities, faith groups, nonprofits, law enforcement and local businesses to build a coordinated system of care and improve housing stability and access to services for unhoused and at-risk individuals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in homeless services or supportive housing services.
• 1 year or more of supervision experience.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn specialized client tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Navigation office operations and supervise Case Managers.
• Coordinate with government entities, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses to streamline care.
• Train staff on data entry, procedures, and safety.
• Review timecards and approve time-off requests; support staff development.
• Represent 5CHC at meetings in SLO County and coordinate with other program managers.
• Assist with case management for complex cases and maintain client confidentiality.
