Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking an experienced Engineering and Logistics Project Manager to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts at NAS North Island, CA. You will drive sustainment tasks for F/A-18 programs, align deliverables with leadership, and coordinate across engineering and logistics teams to ensure timely, high-quality results.

The role requires 3–10 years in engineering and logistics project management, a BS/BA in a relevant field, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in engineering and logistics program/project management.
• BS/BA in Business Administration or a relevant technical discipline is required.
• Security clearance at the Secret level is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainment tasks for the F/A-18 by reviewing proposals and aligning with management.
• Assign project phases and personnel to responsibilities.
• Analyze product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Design and conduct technical studies and tests to confirm performance and viability.
• Create and manage detailed project schedules with time requirements.
• Monitor ongoing activities and resolve issues to maintain timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive status reports and provide strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and logistics teams to support the tasking.
