Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of the Naval Segment in Syracuse, NY to drive the performance of the Naval portfolio within Surveillance Systems.

You will own the P&L, budgets, forecasts and long-range plans, and lead strategic initiatives across contracts and investments. The role requires a proven track record leading large programs in high-technology environments, strong leadership, and the ability to secure follow-on opportunities while building durable customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years leading large programs or product teams.
• 10+ years in high-technology or development environments; aerospace/defense preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, costing, baselining and planning.
• Experience in business capture including costing, proposals and customer interaction.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain high-impact customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the budget, forecast, strategy and business plan for the Naval P&L center.
• Execute all contract obligations; manage profitability and customer relations.
• Provide strategic input on trends, opportunities and investments for the segment.
• Staff, retain, and develop the Program Management team and improve organizational rhythms.
