Saab, Inc. in Syracuse, NY seeks a visionary technical leader to define the technology strategy for advanced radar and antenna systems and to drive next-generation capabilities across the U.S. business.

You will report to the VP/GM and work with engineers, customers, and partners to translate breakthroughs into mission-ready solutions. This role blends deep technical leadership with strategic oversight, mentoring staff, guiding investments, and strengthening Saab's position in surveillance

Formación

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 20+ years of technology leadership experience with radar design.
• Advanced technical expertise in radar technologies for sensor applications.
• Executive-level communication and presentation experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in support of program and business development efforts.
• U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance is required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the vision and technical strategy for Saab's advanced antenna technologies across the U.S. business.
• Partner with senior leadership to define technology priorities, strategic investments, and long-term roadmaps.
• Drive the design, development, and transition of radar/antenna technologies from concept to operational capability.
• Lead the development of radar/antenna product applications while guiding product strategy throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape and execute R&D initiatives aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
