Saab, Inc. in Syracuse, NY seeks a Senior Director of the Naval Segment to lead the Naval portfolio within the Surveillance Systems Division. You will own the P&L, drive strategy, manage contracts, and develop a high-performing PM team to deliver on long-term goals.

The role requires deep experience in high-technology environments, strong leadership, and proven ability to coordinate across functions, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, risk management, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing a large Program or Product teams.
• 10+ years of significant experience in a high-technology or development environment, with preference for Aerospace and Defense experience.
• Experience with Scheduling, Costing, Baselining and Planning.
• Experience working on business capture activities including costing, proposal writing, and customer interaction.
• Expertise in establishing and maintaining high impact customer relationships.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the budget, forecast, strategy and business plan for the Naval P&L center.
• Execute all contract obligations of the Naval Segment, including managing contracts and profitability.
• Provide strategic input to the Surveillance Systems business on trends and opportunities.
• Staff, retain, grow and develop the Program Management team.
