Job summary

JSL Technologies, Inc. in Port Hueneme, CA, seeks a Naval Systems Integration & Sustainment Engineer to deliver full-lifecycle systems engineering, hardware integration, T&E, and fleet technical support for MK 34, MK 48 GWS, and NFCS.

You will coordinate lab testing at SWEF, lead shipboard installations, and drive obsolescence mitigation. The role requires clearance eligibility, strong mechanical/electrical/computer engineering knowledge, travel to ships and labs, and collaboration with ISEA

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering as applied to naval systems.
Willingness to travel for shipboard technical assistance and lab work.

Responsibilities

Develop test procedures and verify hardware/software across ISEA laboratories, land-based test sites, and naval vessels.
Provide remote and on-site technical support for OBTA requests and NFCS equipment harvesting/replacements.
Author and maintain Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), ORDALTs, ICDs, Technical Manuals, and PMS documentation.
Conduct market research and engineering assessments to resolve DMSMS for legacy hardware.
Validate Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and troubleshoot complex electromechanical interfaces.
Support lead engineers with TPS, project schedules, risk management, budget inputs, and data calls.
