Job summary

JSL Technologies, Inc. in Port Hueneme, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to support the MGWS and related Navy programs. You will assist with hardware/software engineering, installation, modernization, system integration, testing, data collection, and the preparation of specifications and reports.

Qualifications

• US work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Active Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, assessments, investigations, and evaluations for combat, weapon, network, and ancillary systems aboard Navy LCS platforms and laboratories.
• Develop, update, test, and validate hardware/software procedures and technical documents (drawings, manuals, CSOSS, C&L, APL/AEL) used by ISEA and shipboard personnel.
• Respond to CASREP, Fleet Tech Assists, and provide Distance Support as needed.
• Go onboard ships and laboratories to operate and maintain or modernize systems and equipment.
• Provide test support for development/operational testing and CSSQT for SUW MM.
