JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Engineer in Port Hueneme, CA to support the Modular Guns Weapons System and related DoD programs. The role involves hardware/software engineering, installation/modernization, system integration, testing, data collection/analysis, and documentation.

Candidates should be prepared to travel aboard ships and laboratories for on-site work. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance,

Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Responsabilités

Perform engineering analysis, assessments, investigations, and evaluations for combat, weapon, network, and ancillary systems aboard Navy LCS platform and laboratories.
Provide support for development, review, and update of engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, analysis, and post-event reports.
Develop, update, test, and validate hardware/software procedures, processes, and technical documents used by ISEA and shipboard personnel to support assessments, installations, and embark/debark events.
Respond to CASREP, FTA and provide Distance Support (DS).
Go onboard ships and laboratories to operate and maintain or modernize systems and equipment.
