Job summary

Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (ISHPI) seeks an experienced engineer to support at-sea test programs and acoustic telemetry data analysis for government and commercial customers. The role requires hands-on maritime testing, safety readiness, and dockside operations in Newport, RI.

The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, U.S. citizenship, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience embarking on ships while meeting all medical/safety readiness requirements.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience executing formal at-sea test procedures, writing At-Sea Test Plans/Reports, and conducting dockside grooms.
• Security clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
