Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. Newport News is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker.

You will be trained in the state-of-the-art welding program and work on aircraft carriers, submarines, and surface ships, fabricating ventilation and structural components per technical docs. Responsibilities include fabricating and installing sheet metal parts, using drills, rivet guns and CNC fabricators, and adhering to safety and procedural guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Sheet Metal or directly related field from a recognized program.
• Ability to read and follow detailed technical work documents.
• Experience or training in sheet metal fabrication or related trades.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal components on ships per guidelines.
• Work with tools such as drills, rivet guns, grinders and CNC fabricators.
