Job summary

Serco is seeking a Shipyard Laborer to support U.S. Navy ships, working on-board naval vessels in Norfolk, VA. You will join a team delivering cabling, equipment, and C5ISR installations with a focus on safe, quality workmanship.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. Second/third shift availability and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• General manual labor including loading/unloading and lifting.
• Ability to perform fire watch and assist welders as needed.
• Comfort with on-board tasks and working under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move supplies and materials.
• Assist with cabling and electromechanical installations.
• Work on-board U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
• Follow safety protocols and report to supervisor.
