Job summary

Prism Maritime, LLC in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Project Manager I–III to lead shipboard installation, modernization, repair, and C5ISR integration projects for U.S. Navy and other Government customers.

You will plan, execute, and complete assignments, serving as the primary interface with Government representatives, ship's force, subcontractors, and internal teams. The role requires understanding NAVSEA installation standards, project controls, and government contracting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years of experience in maritime C5ISR installation, modernization, ship repair, shipbuilding, project management, or related technical programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing mid-sized projects (<$1.5M) with cost, schedule, and deliverables.
• Ability to interpret NAVSEA drawings, technical documentation, and shipboard installation work packages.
• Experience negotiating scope changes and contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and monitor all aspects of assigned projects from award through completion.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, labor utilization, subcontractors, material procurement, and customer deliverables.
• Serve as the primary customer interface for assigned projects and maintain effective communication with Government representatives, ship's force personnel, and technical stakeholders.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, production reviews, status meetings, and project closeout activities.
• Develop project documentation, including progress reports, travel requirements, labor reporting, and customer deliverables.
