Security Clearance

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and oversight to contractors at junior and mid‑experience levels.
• Support the prime contractor program manager and government stakeholders with overall planning, direction and success of major programs, system development efforts, and research or technology initiatives that have great significance to agency needs.
• Assist with overall program definition, organization, and direction of short‑ and long‑range plans, including formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach, and negotiating with activities and agency personnel for necessary resources.
• Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
• Provide program and operations support across acquisition, communication, and leadership initiatives.

Experience

• 10 years of experience supporting NAVSEA programs.
• Experience with Navy programs involving small combatants.
• Experience supervising medium to large teams (plus).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, business or related field, or relevant direct military experience in lieu of a degree.
